Custom Built To Order – AR Reverse Thread Smooth OD – Aluminum Couplers

The sharp buttress type threads withstand high pulling loads that meet or exceed the Bellcore tensile standard of 1000 lbs.  These couplers are machined with one degree of taper and have a long chamfered lead-in for straight, easy starting and incorporate a wide eight pitch thread angle which greatly reduces the number of revolutions necessary to install.  These versatile couplers can be used in manholes, direct bury, aerial, or any application except where an air or water tight connection is required.  These couplers have a smooth outside diameter (OD).

COUPLERS ARE BUILT TO ORDER AND THEREFORE THEY ARE NOT REFUNDABLE ONCE PRODUCTION STARTS OR RETURNABLE ONCE SHIPPED.

Aluminum couplers should NOT be installed under the following conditions:
* In wet environments or submerged in water.
* In strong acidic or alkaline environments outside the PH range of 4 to 8.
* Near salt water or direct exposure to road salt run off.
* In concrete or cement stabilized sand.
